AdSidera is run by Pia Maltri. After working for the major mobile telephone company in Italy (Telecom Italia Mobile), in 2003 Pia moved to Dublin to join Google Ireland in their start up phase as the European headquarters and worked there from 2003 to 2013, managing some of the top Google advertising accounts in the EMEA region. She was among the first ten Google employees in Ireland, and the first to be hired from abroad in the Dublin office to work for the then little more than newborn AdWords product. During this decade Pia helped hundreds of advertisers and publishers to profit from Google advertising products: AdWords and AdSense. In 2013 Pia has started her own online advertising consultancy business, AdSidera, to help businesses of all sizes to succeed by taking maximum advantage of the benefits of online advertising.
With a background in classical studies, Pia holds an MA degree in Literature (Hons). In her free time Pia loves going to the theatre and to the opera, enjoys good cinema and classic books. Being a passionate internet user, she still marvels at the infinite convenience that the web has brought into our lives and firmly believes in the role of online advertising as a sophisticated public utility tool that should connect the user with the right product at the right time.
